About
My Ph.D. work at Grenoble was about finding the structural signal that separates machine-generated text from human writing — a detection problem I later spent a year consulting on for Springer-Nature's publication workflow. That instinct, find the pattern, prove it, ship it, has shaped everything since.
I've since built two R&D functions from zero: standing up processes, hiring, and technical direction from a blank page at CMC Global, then again at Chartertech Global, where I now run a data team shipping a full ingestion-to-visualization pipeline for a digital banking platform. In between, three years at Tibco building machine-learning operators into a low-code IDE used by enterprise data teams.
I work at the seam between research and delivery: translating emerging technology into demos executives will fund and architectures engineers can actually ship, in FinTech, Crypto, and Cloud Computing.
Experience
Spearheading a new R&D department, working directly with the CTO to set research roadmaps for Digital Banking, Crypto, and FinTech. Turn emerging-technology research into architected, high-impact demos and prototypes for executive stakeholders, driving the innovation lifecycle from idea to MVP. Manage a 6-person data team building, deploying, and troubleshooting a full pipeline — ingestion, storage, transformation, visualization — for a digital banking platform.
Founded and scaled a greenfield R&D team to 8+ people, establishing core processes and technical standards from scratch. Secured project funding by developing and pitching strategic AI service offerings to key clients. Led cross-functional teams delivering complex MVPs and PoCs in LLM, NLP, Computer Vision, and Voice Processing. Ran knowledge-sharing sessions and technical workshops to build a learning culture.
Worked directly with managers in the US to develop and maintain machine-learning operators for a low-code IDE. Integrated a data visualization platform with an online computing platform for a smooth ETL data-processing flow.
Researched data from social-network users. Interpreted data and built a system to predict the selling price of used cars. Conducted an NLP project to parse and deconstruct sale descriptions.
Researched the state of the art in NLP text generation. Developed and evaluated methods to automatically detect generated texts.
Consulted and collaborated with Springer-Nature to develop a check for automatically generated text as part of the publication workflow.

New machine-learning and data-preparation methods for Spotfire users: SVM, Self-Organizing Maps, XGBoost, regression/classification trees, missing-data handling, sampling, and encoding.
A TensorFlow environment for loading and executing Python scripts, saved models, and GraphDefs on the TIBCO ModelOps cloud deployment platform.
Seamless ETL flow: data extracted from Spotfire, transformed, loaded into ModelOps for processing, results displayed back in Spotfire.
Developed and maintained AI/ML operators — regression, classification, frequency tables — for StreamBase Studio's low-code data-flow IDE. Shipped as a key new feature for v11.0.
Customer targeting, churn prediction, product recommendation, and regression models to predict used-car selling prices for oto.com.vn.
Open-source software, built with Springer-Verlag and University Grenoble Alpes, that scans XML and PDF submissions using intertextual distance to flag automatically generated papers. Still running in the Springer-Nature workflow.
